Tim is the Creator and Co-founder of Totem.
He is a Vikasa yoga and Hatha Vinyasa instructor, but travels regularly to workshop under leading international yogis to be able to bring different styles into his Totem classes. He has completed 200 hours of Vikasa, undertaken his Advanced training with both Kosta Miachin, and Patrick Beach and Carling Harps, as well as taking continuing education hours with Dylan Werner.
"Totem yoga came about from my strong connection to nature. This unique style of yoga inspired by the wild world around us takes a focus on a fluid practice: building strength, creating flexibility, encouraging play, all while learning to float. The style incorporates natural, primal movements to create a physically meditative practice."
Tim is also a certified Life Coach, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor with over a decade experience.
Dean is a Co-founder at Totem Yoga.
Dean is a multi-style yoga teacher and has practiced and taught yoga all over the world. He is certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Vinyasa, and Aerial Yoga. He’s currently working toward his Advanced Vinyasa training, and regularly undertakes continuing education with leading international yogis. When not on the mat, he studies Marine Biology and Zoology with UWA.
Dean’s unique take on yoga combines the best elements of over 10 styles of yoga with an in-depth knowledge of biology and takes inspiration from the wonderfully wild world around us.
